Abstract: This paper presents a digital pen based attendance tracking and grading system for K-12 class room administration. The question, whether this system is feasible for International Schools, is the focus of this paper. This matter is discussed based on observations made during the development and prototypical integration of the system in an International School (IS), as well as findings of an online survey concerned with the current process of attendance tracking and grading, including available technology in schools, the potential users of the system and their administrative tasks.
